Ep 27 - The Juxtaposition Of Synergy
Variety used to be the spice of life. Since 1968 it has been cumin (With a break in the late 90's to make room for Ginger, Posh and Sporty). Variety on SK Morton's Lousy Podcast has been more or less absent. But this week we're full on Gobi Aloo with Falafel.
After a lovely story about Pete's lovely serenade of a lovely couple on the day of their lovely engagement with a lovely 50% shot at success, we welcome, by phone, big time documentary writer/producer Bill George. His latest film, Chinese Builders of Gold Mountain, illustrates just how important diversity is to an effective defense against a balanced, if not high scoring, Kansas City spread offense. Also, apparently, Chinese people helped develop California. Well done them.
Of course, There are certain constants associated with the podcast that must be adhered to: Ignorance; falsification; bewilderment; self-indulgence; advertising. In addition to the 1st Bridal Fitness Coach commercial presented by Pete we also turn him out for weddings, private parties, and mitzvahs (Both bar & bat - which is also the name of a Jewish saloon near the ball park). We add some more clues to the dying Lousy Treasure Hunt. And we highlight the fact that head-on collisions during SK's Lousy San Francisco Walking Tour are a full 15% fewer than that of his bus driving competitors.
And let's not forget SK's African American wife, Babette. She was given a whole 2 minutes at the end of the hour to talk about something - I don't remember.
